Holden Special - Barina Spark

This is part three of our look over some of Holden's range.

Neutral's newest co-host "Howie" randomly drew the smallest car in the Holden line up, the Barina Spark.

One could confuse the name Spark as some reference to an electric car, however we think it was named after a Holden designer "Bright Spark"

Notice Something? How could you not? A shift from the boring sameness of other small cars, the all-new Holden Barina Spark stands out for all the right reasons – sporty stance, edgy looks inside and out, a high level of standard safety features and included luxuries that many small cars offer only as added extras.

Clever styling gives Barina Spark the sleek, sporty shape of a three door, and the convenient space and practicality of a five door. But while its integrated rear door handles may be hidden from view, the rest of the car’s exterior design is most definitely not.

The Barina Spark comes with the must-haves like a CD/MP3 sound system that lets you DJ your favourite beats via steering wheel controls, as well as offering a USB input with iPod compatibility.

Safety matters. It may be as fun to drive as it looks, but the Barina Spark is all business when it comes to safety. Features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and six airbags including drive passenger side and curtain airbags.
