Holden Crushing it for Safety

road SafetyHolden is once again joining forces with the Australasian Road Rescue Organisation (ARRO) this week for the annual road rescue training event, the ‘Capital Rescue Challenge 2014’. To be held from 24 to 27 July 2014 at Lardner Park, near Warragul, Victoria, this event will once again assist in honing the emergency response skills of road rescue workers from across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong.


Victory At The Spa 24 For Audi

spa24hrAudi has won the world’s toughest GT3 race at Spa. In the battle of eleven marques and 60 participants, the R8 LMS ultra prevailed for the third time in four years. The Belgian Audi Club Team WRT took victory in its home round with the driver trio of Laurens Vanthoor/René Rast/Markus Winkelhock (B/D/D).

Rast and Winkelhock had previously achieved victory with Audi


A Stellar Visit with George Lucas and Samuel L Jackson

ferrari1On a brief trip to Italy, film director-producer George Lucas, creator of the Star Wars films and the actor Samuel L. Jackson made the most of their trip to visit Ferrari. The two famous American stars of the film world, with some family members and friends, visited the production area and met Ferrari President Luca di Montezemolo.


Africa To England On Just a Single Tank Of Fuel

merc15A Mercedes-Benz E 300 BlueTEC HYBRID has travelled the 1968 kilometres from Tangier in North Africa to Goodwood in England without having to refuel - and on reaching its destination still had enough fuel left for a further 160 kilometres.

"Is it possible to drive a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Saloon from North Africa to the UK on just a single tank of fuel?" British journalist Andrew Frankel discovered the answer this question by conducting a very challenging experiment of his own.
